1In short
The Bawiarenka website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We don't use Google Analytics, advertising pixels (Facebook, TikTok), or embedded third-party maps or chats. In the bottom-left corner you can choose what you consent to, today only strictly necessary storage is active; the statistics and marketing categories are empty and will only be used if we add such tools and you consent.
2What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) plays a similar role. Under Art. 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law, storing such information requires consent unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested.
3What exactly we store
| Name | Type | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|---|
baw-cookies | localStorage | Bawiarenka (first-party) | Remembers your choice in the cookie window (which categories you accepted) and when, so we don't ask on every visit. | 12 months |
baw-zapisany | sessionStorage | Bawiarenka (first-party) | Remembers that you've already signed up for the newsletter or closed the discount pop-up, so it doesn't show again during the same visit. Contains only the value “1”, no personal data. | until you close the browser tab |
bawpanel | cookie (HttpOnly, Secure) | Bawiarenka (first-party) | Login session for the admin panel. Set only for staff after logging in at /panel/, never for regular visitors. | until logout or closing the browser |
The baw-cookies and baw-zapisany entries are strictly necessary to respect your choices, so they do not require consent. The bawpanel cookie applies only to staff.
4What we do NOT do
- we don't track you across websites or build advertising profiles,
- we don't use analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Hotjar),
- we don't embed social media plugins, the Facebook, Instagram and TikTok icons in the footer are plain links; those services learn nothing about your visit unless you click them,
- we don't load fonts or scripts from external servers, all files come from our own server.
Exception: Google Maps on the “Directions & contact” page. When you open that page, your browser loads the map from Google's servers (Google Ireland Ltd.), which receive your IP address and may set their own cookies under Google's privacy policy. Google is not loaded on any other Bawiarenka page.
5Newsletter
Newsletter e-mails contain an invisible image and links that let us see opens and clicks. These are not cookies, they only work within the e-mail. Details and how to opt out are in our Privacy policy.
6External websites
The buttons for buying tickets, passes and bookings lead to external systems (including Ortosoft) and payment providers. Those sites may use their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control.
7Managing browser storage
You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the site footer. You can also delete data stored by websites in your browser settings (usually Settings → Privacy → Site data), the cookie window and discount pop-up will then appear again.
8Changes
If we add a tool that stores cookies (e.g. visit statistics), we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before storing anything. This version is effective from 10 October 2026. In case of discrepancies, the Polish version prevails.
